The UK may have witnessed early cherry blossom, daffodils soon after Xmas, confused hedgehogs refusing to hibernate and snowdrops without snow, but now its official. Temperatures recorded for January were the second hottest on record, reaching “ridiculously warm” heights, forecasters admitted.
