Statement on Hillary Clinton’s Announced Opposition to the Keystone XL Pipeline
In response to Hillary Clinton’s statement today that she opposes the Keystone XL pipeline, Stephen Kretzmann, Executive Director of Oil Change International, released the following statement:
“We’re glad to see that Secretary Clinton has weighed the evidence and moved from being ‘inclined to support’ the Keystone XL pipeline to clear opposition. It’s clear that the more you look at this pipeline, the more you realize it’s the wrong choice for this country. Now the President is alone among prominent Democrats in his silence. We look forward to a full rejection of this dirty and dangerous tar sands export pipeline.”

It’s good to stop KXL; but pipeline companies like Enbridge are ramping up OLD EXISTING pipelines beyond safe capacities in order to get the same dirty tar sands oil across US borders to refineries and market. This needs to be SHOUTED to the media.
Please say no to Keystone for good!
