dear sir,
years ago as a child i was watching tomorrows world, the item they were showing was a device that could save lives if marooned at sea.
dirty water and sea water was put inside this tube and purified for human consumption, i have always wondered why this technology was not used to help barren areas.
todays companys are offsetting their carbon use by paying for trees to help the enviroment, is it not possible to design this item and transport sea water to barren areas, this can then be used to plant more trees to help with carbon emissions, then the companys can pay for pipelines to take the sea water to these places. we are able to do this with oil and gas. i am not a well educated lady but feel compelled to put this forward.
i dont feel i can give you an answer for what we need, if this were to work we might just buy ourselves a little time to come up with a better solution.
