What is that in American?

120 gm/km = 193 gm/mi

According to http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/co2.shtml, there are 5.5 lb of Carbon in a gallon of gas.

5.5 lb/gal = 2364 gm/gal

I get 12.2 mi/gal as the mandated mileage in English units. Shouldn't the bar be a bit higher?
