<description>"Higher carbon dioxide levels mean the body has a decreased amount of oxygen available to it, and consciousness begins to suffer." &lt;i&gt;Rays of Truth - Crystals of Light,&lt;/i&gt; Dr. Fred Bell, p. 2.

Reliance on fossil fuels increase the imbalance between carbon dioxide and oxygen. Fossil fuels produce no oxygen.

This adversely affects our brain. The list goes on. This imbalance weakens our immune system. We suffer more allergies. Children's learning is adversely affected. Conditions like Autism and ADHD are more common.

The remedy, which most people avoid like the plague including Al Gore, is the legalization of hemp.

Hemp can provide all our nation's energy needs growing on 6% of the land. Currently we pay farmers not to grow crops on 15% of the land.

Hemp, while growing, will produce 20 to 40% more oxygen than carbon dioxide it produces when it is burnt.

Making paper from hemp can end cutting down trees. Trees can then do what they're supposed to--produce more oxygen, among other things.

If global warming is a natural trend as some claim, ending our dependence on fossil fuels will slow down that natural cycle.

The effects of global warming are more noticeable in Alaska. The permafrost is melting. The forests are being attacked by beetles. The forests may be replaced by grasslands.

There are at least two species of beetles that are attacking trees in the lower 48. Ash and maple trees are especially vulnerable. Furniture from ash and maple syrup from maple trees may become a thing of the past.

Furniture can be made from hemp, but hemp is not known for making maple syrup.

Unless environmentalists, hempsters and others of social conscious can come together and demand the legalization of all things hemp, we are going to left to bad-mouthing the auto industry, Big Oil and other big-monied interest groups.

It may make you feel good to vent, but that's not a solution.

The first step is to go after the Congress and demand that they remove all references to hemp, cannabis and "marijuana" from the Controlled Substances Act. The CSA is the bottle neck.

Then legalize all things hemp, and put the control of hemp under the Department of Agriculture where it belongs.

The advantage of hemp over corn is that hemp doesn't require herbicides or pesticides. The sheer volume of hemp can vastly out produce corn. Too, hemp can be made into other fuels besides ethanol. Hemp can also be made into gasoline.

Hemp can also be used to fuel its own refineries, whereas corn can't.

With elections coming up, this is a good time to call your candidates and impress upon them the need for legalizing all things hemp. Send a $10, $25, $50 or $75 contribution between now &#38; election especially if they seem interested in legalizing hemp.

Lastly, start learning as much as you can about all things hemp. Then become a knowledgeable advocate for legalizing all things hemp.</description>
