BP is set to make a full recovery after last year’s setback with Hurricane Katrina, and has just announced oil production of over 4 million barrels of oil a day in first quarter 2006.

BP has also said that its margins in its gas, power and renewables division would be “significantly higher” compared to the fourth quarter of 2005.

According to The Times “today’s trading statement should provide a boost for Lord Browne and other BP executives, who missed out on some of their bonus entitlements last year as a result of the setbacks in America”. Isn’t Browne earning enough money already without further “bonus entitlements”?
