It looks like Exxon is about to be booted out of Venezuela, the fifth largest oil-exporting nation. On Wednesday, Venezuela’s oil minister said that Exxon was no longer welcome.

“We said we don’t want them to be here” Minister Rafael Ramirez said. “We have many partners, many capabilities and many countries that are willing to manage our resources with us.”

Although other oil companies, such as ConocoPhillips, France’s Total SA, Chevron Corp. and Norway’s Statoil ASA, have agreed to new terms imposed by the government, Exxon  refuses to.

Its a pity the planet can’t boot Exxon off for refusing to act over climate change. So one down, 150 countries to go…
